All individuals interested in researching their family’s history and the history of the region are invited to attend by the Robert Forsyth Chapter of the Georgia Society, Sons of the American Revolution (SAR). Mentors will be available for participants who wish to develop the information required to submit themselves as prospective members of the Sons of the American Revolution. Also, members of the Sons of Confederate Veterans and associates of the Georgia Historical Society, Georgia Genealogical Society and the Cumming/ Forsyth Historical Society will discuss important events in the history of Georgia and Forsyth County.
