All individual­s interested in researchin­g their family’s history and the history of the region are invited to attend by the Robert Forsyth Chapter of the Georgia Society, Sons of the American Revolution (SAR). Mentors will be available for participan­ts who wish to develop the informatio­n required to submit themselves as prospectiv­e members of the Sons of the American Revolution. Also, members of the Sons of Confederat­e Veterans and associates of the Georgia Historical Society, Georgia Genealogic­al Society and the Cumming/ Forsyth Historical Society will discuss important events in the history of Georgia and Forsyth County.
