The poll of 1,091 likely voters was conducted Oct. 21 through Tuesday for The Atlanta Journal-Constituti­on and Channel 2 Action News by the University of Georgia’s School of Public and Internatio­nal Affairs. The margin of error is 3.0 percentage points.

Do you think it is very likely, likely, not very likely, or not likely at all each of the following will happen during this year’s midterm election in Georgia? Many votes will actually not be counted. Very likely — 18.1 percent

Likely — 26.2 percent

Not very likely — 32.7 percent

Not likely at all — 17.4 percent

Don’t know/refused to answer — 5.5 percent

Do you think it is very likely, likely, not very likely, or not likely at all each of the following will happen during this year’s midterm election in Georgia? Many people will show up to vote and be told they are not eligible.

Very likely — 18.5 percent

Likely — 30.3 percent

Not very likely — 32.6 percent

Not likely at all — 12.4 percent
