■ Light Up Brookhaven Holiday Celebration. 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 29. Free. Blackburn Park, 3493 Ashford Dunwoody Road, Brookhaven. This event will feature musical performances, holiday crafts, hot chocolate, refreshments, food trucks and Christmas tree and Hanukkah Menorah lightings. The Jewish Community Center will host several craft stations as Rabbi Brian Glusman leads Hanukkah songs. ■ Documentary Film Screening: “The Well-Placed Weed.” 7:15 p.m. Nov. 29. Free. Decatur Library Auditorium, 215 Sycamore St., Decatur. Ryan Gainey, one of the most celebrated American garden designers of the past three decades, is subject of documentary about his life.
