Q: When will “The Great British Cooking Show” be airing again on channels 8 and 30? BARBARA RAMSEY, ROME

A: Netflix instead of PBS is showing new episodes of the show in the U.S. The streaming network has picked up the U.S. versions of seasons five, six and seven of the show (seasons eight, nine and 10 of the British version), according to a news release from Netflix.

Netflix also says it plans to show two-episode holiday specials in 2018, 2019 and 2020. It also debuted on the streaming network this fall an extra collection called “The Great British Baking Show: The Beginnings,” which was season three in the U.K.

Q: There is supposed to be a law about 18-wheelers being in the two left lanes on Interstate 285, but I see them in those lanes all the time. And I see cops going by truckers in those two left lanes and not giving them a ticket. Is that law still in effect? PERCY LOVE, ATLANTA

A: Parts of I-285 have lane restrictions for trucks over six wheels, according to the Georgia Department of Public Safety.

“Our officers cite these violators on a regular basis, as we are also working with local jurisdictions and Georgia State Patrol to attempt to correct the problem. We will continue to patrol these routes and issue citations to those that are violating the posted restrictions,” Lt. Jonathan Mouchet with the Georgia Department of Public Safety told Q&A on the News via email.
