City approves 14 miles for street resurfacing
The Sandy Springs City Council has approved two lists of roadways totaling more than 14 miles to be resurfaced in the 2019 fiscal year.
The first list contains about 10 miles of streets with low Pavement Condition Index (PCI) ratings. Some are well known to residents, including sections of Mount Vernon Highway, Northridge Road, Powers Ferry Road and Sandy Springs Circle. Estimated cost of the work is $3 million.
