NFL Raiders looking into AT&T Park for 2019

-

The Oakland Raiders may be crossing the Bay Bridge for their home games next year.

The San Francisco Giants confifirmed they’ve engaged in initial dialogue with the Raiders about hosting the team’s home games at AT&T Park for the 2019 season.

“There has been initial interest expressed in exploring the opportunity of the Raiders playing at AT&T Park … many details would need to be fifififigured out,” the Giants said in a statement.

The Ra iders’ venue for 2019 has been up in the air since Oakland sued the team and the NFL for antitrust violations. Raiders owner Mark Davis rescinded a rent offffffffffffer that would have allowed the Raiders to play at the Coliseum, the team’s longtime home, in 2019 and the Raiders aren’t scheduled to relocate to Las Vegas until 2020.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reported that because AT&T Park falls within “the 49ers territorial rights within the market,” the Raiders and Giants cannot reach an agreement without receiving additional approval. Whether that approval must come from the NFL or the 49ers remains unclear.

■ The Packers ruled out defensive tackle Kenny Clark today against the Jets, and are unlikely to have wide receiver Randall Cobb. Clark injured his triceps against Atlanta two weeks ago and will miss his second straight game. Cobb was listed by as doubtful to play, along wi th starting right tackle Jason Spriggs. Both are in the NFL’s concussion protocol after being injured last week at Chicago.

■ The Seahawks could be without bo th starting safeties and t wo starters on their offensive line for tonight’s matchup with the Chiefs. Free safety Tedric Thompson was ruled out with chest and ankle injuries, and strong safety Bradley McDougald is questionable to play because of patella tendinitis. Right guard D.J. Fluker and right tackle Germain Ifedi are questionable with hamstring and groin injuries, respectively.

■ Jets wide receiver Quincy Enunwa will miss his second straight ga me because of an ankle injury. Enunwa is tied with Robby Anderson for the team lead with 38 catches, but has just nine receptions in the Jets’ last four games. He sat out against Houston last Satu rd ay after hur t - ing hi s ankle at Buffalo.
