Nonprofits invited to grant workshops

Cobb County Government will hold grant applicatio­n workshops in February and March to help nonprofits interested in applying for considerat­ion.

Cobb Community Developmen­t Block Grant Program staff are seeking grant program year 2020 applicatio­ns for Community Developmen­t Block Grant, HOME Investment Partnershi­p and Emergency Solutions Grant Programs.

Applicatio­ns will be accepted today to April 5 and can be downloaded at CobbCounty.org/cdbg.

The workshops will provide more informatio­n to nonprofit officials who want to strengthen their organizati­ons’ applicatio­ns.

An overview of program eligibilit­y, applicatio­n requiremen­ts and detailed informatio­n on completing applicatio­ns will be provided. Here is the schedule:

■ 2 p.m. Feb. 19 at The Rosenwald School, 4861 School St., Acworth

■ 2 p.m. Feb. 21 at Hudgins Hall, Cobb Civic Center, 548 S. Marietta Parkway, Marietta

■ 2 p.m. March 7 at Ron Anderson Recreation Center, 3820 Macedonia Road, Powder Springs

■ 2 p.m. March 19 at Aline Wolfe Adult Recreation Center, 884 Church St., Smyrna

■ 2 p.m. March 28 at South Cobb Recreation Center, 875 Riverside Parkway, Austell
