Newly relocated and expanded businesses were welcomed to Gwinnett recently at Partnership Gwinnett’s annual New Company Reception.

“The success of these growing companies is a testament to the work that has been done to build and support economic development throughout the county,” said Gwinnett County Board of Commission Chairman Charlotte Nash.

The reception, attended by Convergint Technologies, Gezolan, Hapag-Lloyd, OneLogin, TTEC and others, provided each organization a chance to share the decision-making process behind their expansion or relocation to Gwinnett.

“Our business demands a strong logistics infrastructure and we were happy to find that in Gwinnett,” said Hercules Angelatos, senior vice president of the business service center for HapagLloyd.

Representatives from the nonprofit organizations Gwinnett Coalition for Health & Human Services, Gwinnett County Public Schools Foundation, Georgia Commute Options and others had the opportunity to establish relationships with the new companies.

Partnership Gwinnett supports and promotes businesses in the county’s five targeted industries: advanced manufacturing, corporate headquarters/professional services, life sciences and services, information technology and supply chain management.
