Debbie Butler wants something done about a light.

“The left turn signal on Holcomb Bridge Road to Old Alabama Road heading toward 400 is so short only four cars can make it through the light. The left turning lane is so backed up it causes traffic issues for cars trying to continue on to 400. Also to avoid the light, peo- ple are making left turns to cut through a shopping cen- ter. This is a very dangerous situation. If the timing of the light could be extended, the problem would be reduced,” she said.

We sent the issue to Roswell and will let you know when it’s addressed.

Fixed: Decatur (DeKalb)

In early January, we told you about Anne Palmer’s issue with a dangerous pipe.

“I have emailed DeKalb County Roads and Drainage, and have left voice messages to no avail. There is and has been a jagged pipe which is quite hazardous to tires. It is located in the right lane in front of a silver fire hydrant at or near 3640 N Druid Hills Road, and a short distance as one turns right onto said road from Asbury Court,” she wrote.

We heard back from the county.

“DeKalb County inspected the road and determined that a water value was exposed. County watershed crews have replaced the water valve and completed repairs,” officials said.

Dedrick Burch wanted something done about a steel plate.

“This plate, which covered a sinkhole months ago (long since repaired), serves no real purpose other than to annoy. It is located in the 1000 block of Citadel Drive in unincorporated DeKalb County. It is impossible to avoid as the street is fairly busy. Could you assist in having it removed?” she asked.

We sent the issue to the county and got a quick response that it had been removed.
