1 BASEBALL: Hall of Fame catcher Mike Piazza says he has agreed to become manager of Italy’s national baseball team. The 51-year-old Piazza, who was born in Norristown, Pennsylvan­ia, is of Italian ancestry. He tweeted Wednesday he will manage Italy at a European tournament in 2020 and at the 2021 World Baseball Classic.

2 COLLEGE SOCCER: Greg Andrulis, a former MLS coach of the year who has overseen the George Mason University men’s program for 15 seasons, will not return next year. Andrulis said Wednesday he has resigned after a 4-12-2 season, the third losing campaign in four years.

3 PRO FOOTBALL: The NFL has flexed the Green Bay Packers’ trip to San Francisco to prime time Nov. 24 along with announcing kickoff times for a handful of Week 16 games. The Packers (8-2) and 49ers (8-1) replace Seattle at Philadelph­ia, which now will kick off at 1 p.m. Nov. 24. Carolina at New Orleans moves from Fox to CBS, while Miami at Cleveland switches from CBS to Fox with kickoff times unchanged for both games.

4 PRO FOOTBALL: Louisiana’s Supreme Court has refused to revive a New Orleans Saints fan’s lawsuit against the NFL over officials’ failure to call a penalty at a crucial point in a January playoff game. The court denied a motion to rehear the case without comment.

5 TENNIS: Rafael Nadal saved a match point at 5-1 down in the third set before rallying to beat Daniil Medvedev 6-7 (3), 6-3, 7-6 (4) at the ATP Finals on Wednesday, keeping alive his chances of advancing from the group stage. The Spaniard looked headed for a second straight loss at the season-ending tournament but won five games in a row to go 6-5 up in the deciding set.
