Fox Sports South and Fox Sports Southeast plan to televise eight Braves games from spring training this year, while ESPN will carry one, the networks said Thursday.

The Braves’ first two exhibitions, Feb. 22 against Baltimore and Feb. 23 against Detroit, both at the Braves’ new spring-training stadium in North Port, Fla., will be on Fox Sports Southeast. Chip Caray and analyst Jeff Francoeur will call those games, joined by reporter Paul Byrd.

Next, the Braves’ March 6 exhibition against the Boston Red Sox, also in North Port, will be nationally televised by ESPN. That game will get what ESPN called “all-access” coverage, including players and managers “mic’d up,” in-game interviews and behind-thescenes content.

The Braves’ March 11 and March 15 games in Fort Myers against Minnesota — Josh Donaldson’s new team — will be shown on Fox Sports South and Southeast, respectively. Those will be simulcasts of the Twins’ broadcasts, with Minnesota announcers calling the games.

Similarly, the Braves’ road games against Tampa Bay on March 16 and St. Louis on March 19 will be shown on Fox Sports South and Southeast, respectively, with the Rays’ and Cardinals’ announcers calling the action. Caray and Francoeur will be back in the booth for the Braves’ final TV games of spring training — March 22 against Toronto and March 23 against Boston, both in North Port, on Fox Sports Southeast and South, respectively.

All nine of the Braves’ televised exhibition games are scheduled for 1 p.m. starts.

In addition, the Braves’ March 24 game against the Red Sox (1 p.m.) will be carried on streaming subscription service ESPN-Plus.

The Braves are planning to produce a five-part weekly digital documentary series that will air on the team’s YouTube channel during spring training. The first episode of “Behind The Braves: 2020 Atlanta Braves Spring Training” will debut Feb. 20, followed by new episodes every Thursday through March 19. The series will feature the new spring training facility and the preparations for the season, as well as providing a glimpse of players’ off-the-field lives, according to the Braves. It will be narrated by Braves radio broadcaster Ben Ingram.
