Fulton County has been working closely with the Board of Health, the Georgia Department of Public Health, the CDC, school systems and cities in responding to COVID19, said director Lionell Thomas in a letter to the community.
In the midst of the COVID-19 response, essential Fulton County services will continue, with some modifications taking effect immediately. Residents are encouraged to monitor updates on the Fulton County website and social media channels, and on Fulton County Government Television.
Fulton County Arts & Culture’s Administrative Offices are closed and the team is working remotely. All meetings have been canceled.
“Please note that we will expedite our communications regarding our operations and the status of the 2020 Contracts for Services Awards process as soon and often as we receive updates from the county’s executive offices,” said Davis.
“If you have concerns about any programing proposed for March 2020 that is being impacted by the current public health practice, please note that when awards are announced, recipients will be allowed to update the scope of services, programmatic elements and project or operating budget information based upon the approved award amount inclusive of requests for programmatic extensions if there is a need to reschedule contracted programs. Please note that programs that have already taken place in 2020 remain eligible as reimbursable expenses under the terms of the Contract for Services.”
