1 Flights return: Yeager Airport is resuming a nonstop flight to Atlanta that was put on hold earlier this year because of the coronaviru­s pandemic, the airport said Thursday. The Charleston airport said Delta will restore a second flight to Hartsfield­Jackson Internatio­nal Airport starting July 3.

After Trump tweeted the video late Thursday, Twitter took the rare step of adding a warning that it was “manipulate­d media” and linked to a page that said multiple journalist­s confirmed the clip was edited to make it look like a CNN broadcast. The video remains visible in Trump’s timeline.

4 NYC holiday: New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio announced Friday that Juneteenth will be an official holiday for city workers and schoolchil­dren next year, and the city will form a new commission to examine its history of racial discrimina­tion.

5 Promotion ends: A Louisiana tourist commission is abandoning a 19-year-old promotion touting “New Orleans Plantation Country,” effective immediatel­y. The River Parishes Tourist Commission, representi­ng an area just up the Mississipp­i River from New Orleans, had already planned to drop the plantation reference by the end of this year .
