1 AUTO RACING: Lewis Hamilton won the Styrian Grand Prix from pole position in Spielberg, Austria, clinching an 85th career win to move within six of Michael Schumacher’s Formula One record. Schumacher’s old Ferrari team is struggling; for the second time in four races, Charles Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel crashed into each other and went out. Hamilton finished 13.7 seconds ahead of Mercedes teammate Valtteri Bottas and 33.7 ahead of Red Bull’s Max Verstappen.

2 PRO HOCKEY: Edmonton’s Mike Green and Vancouver’s Sven Baertschi opted out of playing this season, joining Calgary’s Travis Hamonic among players who won’t participat­e. The NHL season is set to resume Aug. 1.

3 PRO SOCCER: Son Heung-min scored the equalizer and set up the winner as Tottenham beat Arsenal 2-1 in the Premier League. Wolverhamp­ton beat Everton 3-0, Trezeguet scored twice as Aston Villa beat Crystal Palace 2-0, and Bournemout­h beat Leicester 4-1,

6 HORSE RACING: Art Collector earned 100 points toward the Sept. 5 Kentucky Derby with his first graded stakes victory, pulling away from the filly Swiss Skydiver in the stretch, in the Blue Grass at Keeneland. In Lexington, Ky., Art Collector took control at the 1/8th pole in the 3½-length win, covering 11/8 mile in 1:48.11 to pay $6.60, $4 and $3.20.

7 AUTO RACING: Sheldon Creed won the NASCAR Trucks Series race Saturday at Kentucky Speedway as rain washed out the final stage.
