Guilty of assaulting employees: The widow of the former Korean Air chairman received a suspended prison sentence Tuesday for assault and other abuses of her chauffeur, security guard and other employees. Lee Myung-hee, 70, was found guilty of habitual abuse toward helpless “victims who were under her influence” and was given a twoyear prison sentence.

“Dancing” hosts gone: The dance has ended for “Dancing With the Stars” hosts Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews. ABC said the show is looking to “embark on a new creative direction” and host Bergeron and Andrews are gone. No replacemen­ts were named.

“MythBuster­s” host dies: Grant Imahara, the electrical engineer and roboticist who rose to fame as a host of the show “MythBuster­s,” died Monday at the age of 49, according to Discovery Channel. The Hollywood Reporter reported that Imahara died of a brain aneurysm.

Candidates blocked: Election authoritie­s in Belarus on Tuesday barred two main rivals of authoritar­ian leader Alexander Lukashenko from running in this summer’s presidenti­al election. The country’s central election commission allowed five candidates on the ballot, denying spots to Valery Tsepkalo and Viktor Babariko and removing any serious competitio­n for Lukashenko, who is seeking a sixth term.

Hate crime charge: A man who authoritie­s said drove into a group of Black people at a Southern California hotel, injuring one person, was accused of assault and of a hate crime, prosecutor­s said Monday. Dennis Wyman, 42, of Redondo Beach, struck an offduty security guard after he yelled “racial insults” at the group in the incident last month.
