Where Can I Find It?

- By Sabine Morrow

Our readers are looking for tangerine juice and wrought-iron furniture,

Q: I love your column, and you have helped me out twice. I watch all of Bobby Flay’s shows, and he is always adding tangerine juice to everything he’s making. I have asked at Buford Highway Farmers Market, looked at DeKalb Farmers Market, Sprouts, Whole Foods and others. Help! Where can I find this and begin to cook like Bobby Flay? Thanks. -- Jill Reichle, Tucker

A: Jill, you’ll be mixing up Bobby Flay’s tangerine gin fizz and grilling his tangerine-maple glazed chicken in no time at all after you visit Trader Joe’s, 931 Monroe Drive, Atlanta, 404-8159210. That location and most other Trader Joe’s stores carry house brand tangerine juice in quart jugs for $3.29 each. Note that this is 100 percent tangerine juice.

Q: Iam on an odyssey to find the old-fashioned type of wrought-iron furniture that you might have outdoors on a patio. I’m not thinking of tables and chairs but decorative tables and consoles. I have searched the usual places -- Pike Nurseries, Target, Home Depot and West Midtown. I have a courtyard that is reminiscent of New Orleans. I’d love to find a console table that would complete that look. Thanks. I love your column. It’s incredibly useful. -Vicki Black, email

A: Thank you for reading, Vicki. You’re looking for a very specialized item, and I don’t know your budget. But I have two ideas for you at varying price points. What I would do if I were lucky enough to have a New Orleans-style courtyard is to visit Architectural Accents, 2711 Piedmont Road, Atlanta, 404-266-8700. This massive showroom, once home to Foremost Dairy, also boasts various workshops on nearly three acres. The store holds a wide variety of antique and reproduction wrought-iron pieces. I spotted a gorgeous French iron balcony that I thought would make an ideal console table for a large space. But then, I found a smaller half-round, lacy iron French balcony that had already been fitted with a stone top. It’s on the expensive side at $1,700, but it is a stunning console. The store has six of these balconies in stock. Check out the website _blank>architecturalaccents.com and look for the item French Wrought Iron Arc Balcony A11139. And while you’re looking, you might find some other piece of wrought iron that would make a table that suits your courtyard. Next, take a look at _blank>Ballarddesigns.com. You’ll find two stores in the Atlanta area. Each one carries Odette, a rustic iron console table with a slightly Spanish look and a mango-wood top. This pretty table sells for $695.
