Grindhouse Killer Burgers to open 8th location

Popular Atlanta burger spot Grindhouse Killer Burgers will open its eighth location this week in Brookhaven.

The restaurant, which will initially be closed for dine-in service, will open at 11:30 a.m. Friday at 2565 Apple Valley Road for takeout and delivery via DoorDash.

The Brookhaven location will join Grindhouse locations at Sweet Auburn Curb Market, Piedmont Heights, Grant Park, Decatur, Athens and two locations at the Hartsfield-Jackson Interna- tional Airport.

“We are crazy excited to bring Grindhouse Killer Burgers to the Brookhaven community,” Grindhouse Killer Burgers’ owner Alex Brounstein said in a prepared statement. “Through- out the years we’ve had far more requests for expan- sion from the Brookhaven neighborhood than by any other. We recognize there is a lot going on in the world right now; it goes without saying that first and fore- most, Grindhouse aims to keep our staff, customers and community safe in the face of COVID-19, and we are doing all we can to do our part by keeping our dining room and patio closed for the time being. With that said, life is short and burg- ers and beer are the ultimate comfort food.”

Grindhouse’s menu features a variety of specialty burgers including the Grindhouse Style (American cheese, grilled onions, lettuce, pickles and Grind- house sauce) and the Hill- billy Style (pimento cheese, jalapenos, Texas-style chili and onions) on a choice of beef, turkey, black bean and quinoa or Impossible patty. There are also a variety of toppings for a build-yourown burger option, as well as sides, snacks, boozy milk- shakes, craft beer, wine and pre-bottled adult beverages to-go.

The location will be accessible off of Peachtree Street, just behind the Brookhaven MARTA station, with on-site parking. The Grindhouse mobile app is available for ordering and paying in advance of pickup.

Grindhouse’s hours will be 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. and 4 p.m.10 p.m. Wednesday-Monday.
