Would prevent hospitals and nursing homes from obtaining or renewing a license to operate if they put a policy in place to keep visitors away from patients during a “declared public health emergency,” like the current one for the COVID-19 pandemic.

Would put a 30-day cap on a governor’s emergency orders during a public crisis and require lawmakers to vote on extending them.

Would allow more medical professionals such as pharmacists, nurses and medics to administer vaccines during public health emergencies.
