1 TV: Drew Brees is headed from the Superdome to the Golden Dome. The Saints quarterbac­k great joined NBC Sports on Monday, a day after announcing his NFL retirement. He’ll serve as an analyst for Notre Dame games and work from the studio during “Football Night in America” on Sunday nights.

PRO BOXING: Anthony Joshua 2 and Tyson Fury have signed on for two fights to unify the world heavyweigh­t titles, said Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn. With terms of the deal set Saturday, Hearn’s company, Matchroom, and Fury’s promoter, Top Rank, have 30 days to find a site and a date for the first fight in June or July. Joshua and Fury will reportedly split proceeds from the first fight 50- 50, with the victor taking a 60- 40 cut for a rematch. Joshua’s WBA, IBF and WBO belts, and Fury’s WBC title, will be on the line.

IDITAROD: Since Dallas Seavey 3 became the youngest musher to win the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race in 2012, he’s fielded questions on whether he would ever get five race titles, the most by a musher. Now Seavey, 34, will start fending off questions about No. 6. On Monday he collected his fifth title, matching the record five wins by Rick Swenson.

4 RUNNING: The pandemic-delayed 2021 Boston Marathon will have space for 20,000 entrants, race organizers said. The Boston Athletic Associatio­n said the smaller field is necessary to allow for social distancing on Oct. 11. More than 30,000 runners signed up for the 2020 race, which was postponed and then canceled because of the pandemic.

5 COLLEGE BASKETBALL: Boston College hired Earl Grant as coach, bringing in the man who led College of Charleston to the NCAA Tournament. Grant ( 127- 89 in seven seasons with the Cougars) replaces Jim Christian, who was fired in his seventh season.
