Capitals at SABRES (late): Brad Marchand scored a shorthande­d goal, Jeremy Swayman made 31 saves to win his second NHL start and the Bruins beat the Capitals 4-2 on Thursday.

Penguins at DEVILS (late): Kris Letang and Evan Rodrigues scored in the second period, and the Penguins beat the Rangers 5-2 Thursday night.

Rangers at ISLANDERS (late):

Brock Nelson scored in regulation and got the only goal in a five-round shootout to give the Islanders a 3-2 win over the Flyers on Thursday.

Wild at BLUES (late): Blues goalie Jordan Binnington had a career-high 50 saves in a 3-1 victory over Vegas on Wednesday. St. Louis is 5-9-4 this season at home. Seven of the Wild's remaining 18 games are against the Blues.

Avalanche at DUCKS (late): Five different players had goals as the Ducks defeated the Sharks on Tuesday. The Avalanche lead the NHL with a plus-25 goal differenti­al in second periods this season (52 scored, 27 allowed). In their last meeting on March 29, Colorado claimed a 5-2 victory.

Coyotes at GOLDEN KNIGHTS (late):

The Kings scored three unanswered goals in the third period to defeat the Coyotes on Wednesday. Arizona is 7-3-0, over the last 10 games, averaging 3.7 goals per. Mark Stone leads Vegas in scoring with 41 points (12 goals, 29 assists). In their last meeting on Jan. 24, Vegas won 1-0.

Kings at SHARKS (late): The Kings are 12th in the NHL on the power play (22.1%). In their last meeting on April 3, San Jose won 3-2. Evander Kane recorded a team-high two points for the Sharks.
