DINING ROUNDUP Entertainment complex to feature global menu

-

A 26,000-square-foot entertainment complex that will feature a “globally-inspired” menu is slated to open early next year on the upper Westside.

Located at 400 Chattahoochee Row, in a revitalized industrial building, the 3rd Spot will offer bowling, an arcade, billiards, shuffleboard, pingpong and curling, as well as a 4,000-square-foot patio with lawn games.

The space, part of the Works development, will function as a combination bar, restaurant, cafe, beer garden and social club.

The menu will offer a variety of small plates, handhelds and shareable items. While the dishes still are being finalized, customers can expect items such as Brazilian cheese bread, crispy rice salmon tartare, French onion wagyu sliders and karaage fried chicken. A full bar will include custom cocktails and nonalcoholic options.

A mobile app will streamline the experience and shorten wait times, while making ordering, payment and connecting “painfree,” the developers promise.

AMP Up1 Hospitality, the Atlanta-based group behind the 3rd Spot, plans to announce a second location this year, with a goal of opening 10 more within the next five years, three of them in metro Atlanta. Other planned locations include Illinois, North Carolina and Florida.

The Works, an 80-acre mixeduse project from Selig Development, already is home to several food and beverage businesses, including Dr. Scofflaw’s brewery and the Chattahoochee Food Works food hall. In the coming months, the Waffle Experience will join the tenant roster, as well as an unnamed restaurant from the owners of the Select, and Brash Kitchen.
