PRO BASEBALL: Los Angeles prosecutors won’t charge Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer for allegedly beating and sexually abusing a San Diego woman he met through social media. Prosecutors were unable to prove the woman’s accusations beyond a reasonable doubt, according to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office on Tuesday.
PRO FOOTBALL: The Titans announced contract extensions for GM Jon Robinson and coach Mike Vrabel. Terms were not released . ... The Packers are counting on former Raiders interim head coach Rich Bisaccia to provide an upgrade, hiring him as the team’s third special teams coordinator in as many seasons. ... Former Panthers assistant Frisman Jackson is the new wide receivers coach for the Steelers. MEN’S COLLEGE BASKETBALL:
Louisville interim coach Mike Pegues said leading scorer and rebounder Malik Williams will return to the team this week from suspension for not upholding program standards. The fifth-year senior forward did not play against Syracuse or North Carolina after the suspension. Williams leads the Cardinals (11-12, 5-8 ACC) with 10.0 points and 8.7 rebounds per game. Louisville visits Notre Dame (16-7, 9-3) tonight. PRO HOCKEY: Chicago Cubs assistant GM Jeff Greenberg interviewed with the Blackhawks for their GM opening. CEO Danny Wirtz, son of team owner Rocky Wirtz, promised last month the process would include candidates “both inside and outside of hockey.” Greenberg took on his current role in 2020.
