The woman told a judge that she did not feel threatened during the incident and made contact with authoritie­s to “monitor the situation.”jeudy, 23, was arrested Thursday at the couple’s suburban Denver home.

Nebraska associate head coach Chuck Love has left the program, the university confirmed Friday. Nebraska announced Feb. 19 that Love had been suspended but didn’t disclose a reason. Love’s suspension coincided with the departure of sophomore guard Ashley Scoggin.

MEN’S COLLEGE BASKETBALL:

Former Texas forward Tre Mitchell has transferre­d to Big 12 foe West Virginia. Mountainee­rs coach Bob Huggins announced Mitchell’s signing Friday. The 6-foot-9 Mitchell averaged 8.7 points and four rebounds last season and started 17 games for the Longhorns. He made nearly 48% of his field goal attempts and 80% of his free throws.

PRO BASEBALL: Phillies slugger 5

Bryce Harper has a small tear in his right elbow and won’t throw for four weeks, but the reigning NL MVP will stay in the lineup as Philadelph­ia’s designated hitter. Harper will receive a platelet-rich plasma injection Sunday and won’t play that day.
