The 11.8-ounce bottle sells for $11.99. Ingredients include red raspberry puree, sugar, chipotle pepper flakes and natural smoke flavor. A: Mitzi, you’ll find Pictsweet Farms butter peas at Buford Highway Farmers Market, 5600 Buford Highway, Doraville, 770-455-0770. The frozen butter peas are on aisle 11A on the top shelf in the second freezer door from the front. Each 12-ounce bag sells for $2.09.

Q: I am hoping that with your years of experience, you have come across a product that can clean the soot and smoke stains from granite around a fireplace.

A: Because I’m not an expert in removing soot, I checked with Kevin Hudson at N-Motion Stone and Tile Care, 678-6620110. If you want to clean the granite yourself, he suggests contacting MB Stone Care and Supply, 888-509-5831, and asking about ABR Waterless Fireplace Cleaner Type B, formulated to remove dirt, grime and soot from your fireplace’s exterior surfaces. Simply paint it on, allow the product to dry, and then peel the grime away. ABR works on exterior brick, textured stone, as well as marble, limestone, concrete and granite. You’ll have to buy ABR by the gallon for $83.40 each. Before investing in a gallon of cleaner, you could try Hudson’s other DIY method. Use Easy Oxy Multi-Surface Cleaner, also available at MB Stone Care and Supply ($14.95 a quart), and scrub your sooty granite with a nylon-bristled brush.
