1 HORSE RACING: Kentucky Derby winner Rich Strike is the third betting choice on the morning line for the Belmont Stakes, with Triple Crown newcomer We the People installed as the favorite. Rich Strike opened at 7-2 odds and drew the fourth post position in a field of eight for the 1½-mile third leg of the Triple Crown. We the People drew the rail and opens at 2-1, with Todd Pletcher-trained No. 6 Mo Donegal set at 5-2.

2 COLLEGE FOOTBALL: Tim Tebow, who led Florida to two national championsh­ips and won the 2007 Heisman Trophy, is among the dozens of former players making a first appearance on the College Football Hall of Fame ballot. The National Football Foundation announced players eligible for election Monday. Other first-timers on the ballot included Utah QB Alex Smith, Oklahoma State WR Justin Blackmon and Penn State RB Ki-jana Carter.

3 PRO FOOTBALL: Indianapol­is Colts linebacker Darius Leonard will miss this week’s three-day minicamp and the start of training camp after back surgery. It’s unclear when the three-time Allpro will return. Leonard has missed seven games in his first four NFL seasons and still amassed 538 tackles, including a league-high 163 in 2018 when he was the league’s Defensive Rookie of the Year.

4 PRO TENNIS: Two-time Wimbledon champ Andy Murray defeated qualifier Christophe­r O’connell 6-4, 6-3 in the first round of the Stuttgart Open. Murray missed much of the claycourt season to focus on grass. He reached the semifinals of the Surbiton Trophy last week.

5 COLLEGE BASKETBALL: New Duke men’s coach Jon Scheyer hired former Nike and NBA staffer Rachel Baker as general manager, a newly created role with duties that include overseeing players’ name, image and likeness opportunit­ies.
