1 PRO BASEBALL: Cleveland Guardians top pitching prospect Daniel Espino will be sidelined at least two months with a right shoulder strain. Espino was tracking to possibly make his big league debut this season. He reported soreness after a throwing session last month. The team doesn’t expect him to throw for eight weeks. Also, outfielder Chase Delauter, the team’s top draft pick last year, will be out four to five months with a broken foot.

2 PRO BASEBALL: First baseman Luke Voit and outfielder Tyler Naquin agreed to minor league contracts with the Brewers and will report to major league camp. Voit, 32, hit .226 with 22 homers, 69 RBIS and a .308 on-base percentage in 135 games with San Diego and Washington last season. Naquin, who turns 32 in April, batted .229 with 11 homers, 46 RBIS, a .282 on-base percentage and a .423 slugging percentage in 105 games for Cincinnati and the Mets in 2022.

3 PRO SOCCER: Midfielder Tyler Boyd signed a one-year contract with the LA Galaxy on Monday. This will be Boyd’s first time in Major League Soccer after playing in New Zealand, Portugal and Turkey. He had two goals and one assist in 10 appearance­s for the U.S. team from 2016-19.

4 PRO SOCCER: Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicuet­a has been discharged from the hospital and is “recovering well” from a concussion after being kicked in the head during an English Premier League game, the club said Tuesday. Azpilicuet­a was taken off on a stretcher wearing a neck brace and breathing from an oxygen mask Saturday.

5 OBITUARY: Amancio Amaro, who helped Real Madrid win the European Cup and nine Spanish league titles in the 1960s and ’70s, died Tuesday at age 83. Real Madrid, where Amaro was honorary president, announced the news but no cause of death.
