PRO CYCLING: Primož Roglic made a winning return to cycling as he triumphed at the weeklong Tirreno-adriatico race in Italy on Sunday for a fourth Slovenian victory in five editions of“the Race of the Two Seas.”it was Roglic’s first race of the season after the Jumbo-visma rider underwent shoulder surgery last year. Belgian Jasper Philipsen won a bunch sprint to take Sunday’s stage.

PRO GOLF: Jorge Campillo held onto his overnight lead to win the DP World Tour’s Kenya Open by two shots with a 5-under 66 in Nairobi, Kenya. The Spaniard put together six birdies and dropped just one shot in the final round at Muthaiga Golf Club to go 18 under overall and stay ahead of Japan’s Masahiro Kawamura. Campillo claimed his third tour title and first since the 2020 Qatar Masters.

PRO SOCCER: Arsenal reclaimed its five-point lead in the Premier League, outclassin­g Fulham in a 3-0 win . Gabriel Magalhães, Gabriel Martinelli and Martin Odegaard scored first-half goals to secure a fifth straight victory in the league for Arsenal. Leandro Trossard provided the assist for all three goals. There was further good news for Arsenal, with Brazil striker Gabriel Jesus coming off the bench in the 77th for his first appearance since undergoing surgery on Dec. 6 for a medial collateral ligament injury sustained during the World Cup.
