1 PRO BASEBALL: Dodgers pitcher Julio Urías was arrested on a felony charge of corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant, a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department spokeswoma­n said. Urías was arrested late Sunday south of downtown Los Angeles. Major League Baseball intends to investigat­e. The 27-year-old was arrested in May 2019 for domestic battery. Urías was suspended 20 games by MLB, but he wasn’t prosecuted by the Los Angeles city attorney on the condition he complete a 52-week domestic violence counseling program. Urías is 11-8 with a 4.60 ERA in 21 starts this season and is set to become a free agent after the World Series.

2 COLLEGE FOOTBALL: No. 21 Duke and No. 22 Colorado moved into the AP Top 25 poll Tuesday after scoring the biggest upsets of the opening weekend of the season, and No. 4 Florida State jumped into the top five. Georgia remained No. 1 with 58 first-place votes, and Michigan held steady at No. 2 with two first-place votes. No. 3 Alabama moved up a spot, and Florida State climbed four places after beating LSU 45-24. Ohio State rounded out the top five. LSU dropped nine spots to No. 15. Clemson, which was upset 28-7 at Duke, fell 16 places to No. 25. TCU, a preseason No. 17 that lost to Colorado, dropped out of the rankings.

3 COLLEGE FOOTBALL: There’s no doubt that Jaxson Dart is Mississipp­i’s starting quarterbac­k now. Dart survived challenges from Spencer Sanders and Walker Howard in fall camp and turned in a strong opener in a 73-7 victory over Mercer. Coach Lane Kiffin confirmed Dart will start for the 22ndranked Rebels at No. 24 Tulane on Saturday.

4 PRO FOOTBALL: Rams WR Cooper Kupp was scheduled to see a specialist for a hamstring injury that has slowed him for roughly five weeks. His availabili­ty for the Rams’ season opener at Seattle on Sunday seems increasing­ly unlikely.

5 PRO FOOTBALL: Travis Kelce hyperexten­ded his knee during practice, leaving the status of the Chiefs’ All-pro tight end in question when Kansas City hosts the Lions on Thursday . ... Two-time Pro Bowl tight end Kyle Rudolph has retired after a 12-year NFL career spent mostly with the Vikings . ... Raiders defensive end Chandler Jones indicated in since-deleted social media posts that he no longer wanted to play for coach Josh Mcdaniels and GM Dave Ziegler.
