PRO BASKETBALL: Giannis Antetokoun­mpo had 26 points and 17 rebounds, breaking Kareem Abdul-jabbar’s Milwaukee rebounding record, and Damian Lillard scored 39 points in the Bucks’ 128-119 victory over Houston on Sunday night. Antetokoun­mpo (17,162 rebounds in 11 seasons with Milwaukee) passed Abdul-jabbar after he had already moved past the Hall of Famer for the team scoring and assists records, making Antetokoun­mpo one of the only NBA players to lead a franchise in all three categories. The others are Michael Jordan (Chicago), Lebron James (Cleveland) and Kevin Garnett (Minnesota).

PRO BASKETBALL: Stephen Curry’s Nba-record 3-pointer streak ended at 268 games Sunday in the Golden State Warriors’ 118-114 victory over Portland. Curry was 0 for 8 from 3-point range, 2 for 12 overall and scored seven points. Curry, the NBA career leader who recently made his 3,500th 3-pointer, last went without one in a regular-season game on Nov. 8, 2018. He also has the secondlong­est NBA streak at 157 games.

MEN’S SKIING: Olympic champion. World champion. And virtually unbeatable on the World Cup circuit. When it comes to giant slalom, Marco Odermatt is completely dominant. The Swiss skier won the Alta Badia giant slalom for the second time in two days Monday in Italy and extended his winning streak in the discipline to six races. Odermatt added to his advantage in the second run to finish 1.05 seconds ahead of Marco Schwarz and 1.22 ahead of Zan Kranjec. Schwarz is second in both the GS and overall standings behind Odermatt. He trails by 92 points in the overall.

PRO SOCCER: Manchester City was handed a $150,000 fine for dissent shown to a referee by Erling Haaland and others in a Premier League game Dec. 3. Players surrounded the ref because the match official failed to play advantage for a potential scoring chance late in a draw with Tottenham. City accepted it failed to ensure players“did not behave in an improper way,” the English Football Associatio­n said.

PRO FOOTBALL: The Steelers are turning to Mason Rudolph at quarterbac­k in hopes of salvaging their season. Coach Mike Tomlin said Rudolph, a six-year veteran, will start Saturday against Cincinnati if Kenny Pickett’s surgically repaired right ankle isn’t healthy in time. Rudolph replaces Mitch Trubisky, who struggled in two losses while filling in for Pickett.
