1 PRO FOOTBALL: Missouri Gov. Mike Parson on Friday shortened the prison sentence of former Kansas City Chiefs assistant coach Britt Reid for a drunken driving crash that seriously injured a 5-year-old girl. Parson’s commutatio­n converted the remainder of Reid’s three-year prison sentence to house arrest, subject to several conditions. Reid had been sentenced in November 2022 after pleading guilty to driving while intoxicate­d causing serious bodily injury. He is the son of Chiefs coach Andy Reid. Parson is a longtime season ticket holder who celebrated with the team at its recent Super Bowl parade.

2 PRO TENNIS: Ugo Humbert stayed undefeated in ATP tour finals by beating Alexander Bublik 6-4, 6-3 to win the Dubai Championsh­ips on Saturday. The Frenchman, who upset defending champion Daniil Medvedev in the semifinals, improved to 6-0 in finals. He also won Marseille three weeks ago. Humbert is set to climb four spots to a career-high No. 14 when the rankings are updated on Monday.

3 PRO GOLF: Joaquin Niemann took six holes to get going Saturday and then ran off six birdies on his way to a 6-under 64, giving him a two-shot lead in LIV Golf Jeddah as he goes for his second LIV win in three starts this year. Anthony Kim, competing after being away from golf for nearly 12 years, started the second round at Royal Greens in Saudi Arabia with three bogeys and a double bogey. He wound up with another 76, leaving him 25 shots behind after two rounds. Kim signed up with LIV as a wild card for the remainder of the season, with hopes of playing well enough to earn a permanent spot for 2025 in the Saudifunde­d league.

4 PRO GOLF: Ayaka Furue of Japan took a two-stroke lead after three rounds of the LPGA Tour’s HSBC Women’s World Championsh­ip in Singapore with a 4-under 68 on Saturday. The 23-year-old Furue, who won the Women’s Scottish Open in her first year on tour in 2022, had a 54-hole total of 10-under 206. Three-time LPGA Tour winner Hannah Green was in second place after a 67.
