1 Browns hire former Titans head coach Vrabel as analyst:

Former Tennessee Titans coach Mike Vrabel, fired in January after consecutiv­e losing seasons, landed as an analyst and personnel consultant for the Cleveland Browns. The 48-year-old Vrabel developed a solid relationsh­ip with Browns coach Kevin Stefanski and general manager Andrew Berry in recent years. He helped them scout players two weeks ago at the NFL combine in Indianapol­is. Vrabel is an Akron native and an Ohio State graduate.

2 Real Madrid to face Man City; PSG gets Barcelona:

Real Madrid and Manchester City will meet in a heavyweigh­t Champions League quarterfin­al between the past two winners and the only remaining unbeaten teams. Madrid will host the first leg April 9, and the return will be the week after. Kylian Mbappé’s path to a first Champions League title with Paris Saint-Germain in his farewell season there will next go through Barcelona. Arsenal will play Bayern Munich, and Atletico Madrid will play Borussia Dortmund.

3 Blue Jays catcher Jansen has bone fracture in wrist:

Toronto Blue Jays catcher Danny Jansen has a fractured bone in his right wrist and could miss opening day, according to manager John Schneider. Jansen sustained the injury to the pisiform bone when he was hit by a 93.4 mph fastball from Pittsburgh’s Carmen Mlodzinski during the eighth inning of Wednesday’s spring training game. Schneider said Jansen is unlikely for the March 28 opener at Tampa Bay. Alejandro Kirk is likely to get a bulk of the time at catcher while Jansen is out.

4 Bees cause lengthy disruption in Alcaraz vs. Zverev tennis match:

A swarm of bees forced a nearly two-hour disruption to the quarterfin­al match between Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev at the BNP Paribas Open. The match was suspended 19 minutes in with Alcaraz serving tied at 1-1. Alcaraz eventually won 6-3, 6-1. Dozens of bees attached themselves to the overhead spider camera that traverses the court. Alcaraz swatted at the bees around him before running for cover.

5 South Carolina freshman Fulwiley signs NIL deal with Curry Brand:

South Carolina freshman MiLaysia Fulwiley became Curry Brand’s first official collegiate athlete after signing a multiyear NIL partnershi­p with the company associated with NBA champion Stephen Curry. The company announced its deal with Fulwiley on Friday. Fulwiley was named Southeaste­rn Conference Tournament MVP on Sunday after scoring a career-high 24 points in a 79-72 title game win over No. 8 LSU.
