Seafood eatery in Duluth fails health check

Food-storage issues among restaurant’s numerous violations.

Hao Quang Seafood Restaurant in Duluth scored 21/U on a routine health inspection with numerous repeat violations.

Eggs and unwashed vegetables were over ready-to-eat soups in the prep cooler. Raw meats were above sauces and vegetables in the coolers.

Hao Quang Seafood Restaurant will be reinspected. Its previous health score was 86/B.

Multiple foods were uncovered in the walk-in cooler, and several prepared foods were stored without date marks for disposal.

Four containers of noodles were discarded after not reaching a safe temperature within two hours of cooling at room temperature.

The clams were thrown away because the stock tags were not attached to the container.

Beans were prepped in the sink meant for cleaning dishes.

Food containers were stored on the floors of the kitchen and walk-in freezer. Several utensils were stored as clean with food debris.
