Several problems at WNB Factory

Food temperature, storage violations cited in second visit.

A WNB Factory in Hampton failed a second routine health inspection due to food temperatures and storage violations.

Multiple containers of cooked rice, raw burger patties, raw chicken tenders, raw chicken wings and sliced cheeses were discarded due to unsafe temperatures.

WNB Factory, 11345 Tara Blvd., Hampton, scored 63/U, down from 87/B. The restaurant also had a failed routine inspection in February. It will be re-inspected.

Numerous chicken wings in the fryer basket were also out of temperature range. The food was placed in the walk-in cooler.

The raw meats in the walk-in cooler were not separated to prevent cross-contamination. The chicken tenders were next to beef patties and ready-to-eat sauce, and raw shrimp and raw chicken were on the same shelf.

Among other violations, lettuce was washed in one of the hand sinks, and employees were not washing their hands for an adequate amount of time.
