Oscar winner John Patrick Shanley (“Doubt,” “Moonstruck”) wrote and directed this 2020 romantic drama about a pair of star-crossed lovers who get caught up in their families’ land dispute in the Irish countryside. Emily Blunt (“The Girl on the Train”) and Jamie Dornan (“The Fall”) star as the couple in question, alongside Christopher Walken, Jon Hamm and Danielle Ryan.

“Movie: Knuckledust”

From across the pond comes this 2020 actioner about a police raid on a deadly fight club that has yielded seven floors full of dead fighters and only one survivor. James Kermack (“Hi-Lo Joe”) wrote, directed and stars in the film, which also has Kate Dickie (“Red Road”), Moe Dunford and Camille Rowe in its cast.

“The Handmaid’s Tale”

Two years after its last episode, the Emmy-winning drama about a totalitarian near-future society returns to find June (Elisabeth Moss) a fierce rebel leader striking back against Gilead but the risks she takes bring dangerous new challenges and threatens to destroy her most cherished relationships. “Movie: The Judge”

Robert Downey Jr. does an effective job in this 2014 drama as a cocky attorney who has a tense homecoming. After his mother’s funeral, he represents his estranged father (Robert Duvall), the title judge who is suspected in the hitand-run death of a defendant he let off with a relatively light sentence, who then killed a teenager. Vera Farmiga and Vincent D’Onofrio also star.
