After a trip back to Gabby and Justin’s (Simone Recasner, Ray Cham) high school culminates in an emotional reveal, both Gabby and the producers are left wondering how to move forward in the new episode “We Were Just Babies.” Meanwhile, Nick (Scott Foley) tries to stage an important conversati­on between Mike and Paula (Joe Rudnitsky, Piper Perabo), both of whom are reluctant.

10 p.m. on KBAK NCIS: Hawai’i

When a Japanese sailor is killed on American soil, evidence links the case to the earlier murder of the victim’s girlfriend back in Japan in the new episode “Gaijin.” Tennant’s (Vanessa Lachey) team must find the person responsibl­e before the wrong person is accused, which could easily trigger a major diplomatic crisis. Directed and co-written by Greg Nicotero (“The Walking Dead”), the unexpected­ly whimsical “Holiday Special: Shapeshift­ers Anonymous” stars Adam Pally (“Happy Endings”) as Robert Weston, an anxious man whose search for some answers takes him to a meeting of a 12-step program for were-creatures, where the other attendees include a former Marine (Pete Bur- ris) who’s a were-tortoise, and a were-cheetah (Anna Camp) who’s a teacher by profession.
