- BY RICK KREISER Rick Kreiser is the founder of the Guitar Masters concert series.

Get ready for a night of soulful melodies, captivating storytelling and unparalleled musicianship as Lyle Lovett and his Acoustic Group grace the Crystal Palace stage this Tuesday and Wednesday for two unforgettable evenings of music as a part of the Guitar Masters concert series.

This isn’t the first time Guitar Masters has done two consecutive nights with the same artist, but this one is very special. The timing of these performances coincides with the end of Lovett’s current tour, making it easier for the musicians to make it a twonight gig.

Renowned for his distinctive blend of Americana, country, folk and blues, Lovett is a true icon of the American music scene. With his rich baritone voice and masterful guitar skills, Lovett has charmed audiences around the world for decades.

Now, lucky concertgoers will have the chance to experience his talent up close and personal in an intimate acoustic setting. His deep reverence for the legacy of Buck Owens and Merle Haggard will surely be evident in his performances.

Joined by his exceptional ensemble of musicians, Lovett promises to deliver a performance that transcends genre boundaries and speaks directly to the heart. From heartfelt ballads to foot-stomping anthems, each song in his repertoire is infused with emotion and authenticity, making for a truly immersive musical experience.

Beyond the music, Lyle Lovett’s live performances are renowned for their intimate anecdotes and witty banter, providing glimpses into the inspirations behind his songs and the stories that have shaped his career. It’s not just a concert; it’s a conversation, a shared experience between artist and audience that leaves everyone feeling like old friends by the end of the night.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with the show starting at 7:30 p.m. both nights at the Crystal Palace. Unlike other concerts where dinner is available for a limited time, attendees on these evenings will only be able to order beverages.

Reserved seats ($90 to $100) are available at buckowens.com/ tickets.
