BPD searches for man suspected of robbing store with skateboard
The Bakersfield Police Department is looking for a man suspected of robbing a Rite Aid in the 1600 block of 23rd Street on March 22 after threatening staff with his skateboard.
BPD described the suspect as a slim, 6-foot-tall white or Hispanic man in his 30s. He was seen wearing a black shirt and red backpack.

The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for
the community’s help in locating a missing adult who is considered at-risk because of medical conditions and not having been missing before.
Andres Rodriguez, 27, was last seen at about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 3000 block of Fairfax Road. Rodriguez is described as Hispanic, 5 feet, 6 inches tall, 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie.
BPD asks that anyone with information call 661-327-7111.
Two women are suspected of stealing merchandise
from a Ross Dress for Less in the 2600 block of Mount Vernon Avenue on April 4, according to the Bakersfield Police Department.
The first woman is described by BPD as a heavy-built Hispanic woman in her mid-40s, 5 feet, 8 inches tall with brown hair and brown eyes, wearing a navy hooded sweatshirt.
The second woman was described as a heavy-built Hispanic woman in her mid30s, 5 feet, 7 inches tall with long brown hair and brown eyes. The second woman was seen wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans, according to BPD.
