Boat used in season of ‘The Sopranos’ for sale
Stugots has an asking price of $299,900
Calling all fans of the American crime drama television series “The Sopranos.” The Stugots is on the market!
That’s right, the exact yacht owned by Tony Soprano in the first season of the show is for sale, with an asking price of $299,900.
The boat, a 1999 Cape Fear 47 Sportfish named Never Enough, is for sale in
Stamford, Connecticut, with broker Paul Ouimette. It was previously sold in 2016 to its current owner − a man who enjoys fishing with his family. The boat has been put back on the market due to the owner’s need for a larger one.
Ouimette spoke on behalf of the family in a statement to United Yacht Sales about the experience of owning such an iconic piece.
“Of course there is a cool factor to having the boat that was in ‘The Sopranos’ and makes for a great conversation piece,” Ouimette said. “People want to experience a piece of television history.”
When Never Enough was purchased by its current owner, Ouimette said, it was clear that work would need to be done. The 47-foot boat has since undergone extensive renovations, such as the rebuilding one of the engines with electronics and further interior work.
Features included in the boat include side scan sonar, Garmin autopilot, open array radar and more. The yacht also has two full bathrooms.
Unknown to many, Tony Soprano actually had three boats throughout the series’ run. The yacht currently on the market is the original Stugots, which was replaced in season two by a 43-foot Egg Harbor. Later, Soprano acquired Stugots II, a 55-foot Ocean Yacht.
