WOODLAND PARK - Rosemarie (Rose) Jenkins (nee Dellraria), 81, of Woodland Park for 11 years, passed away at home on October 14, 2023. She was born in Passaic, graduated from Pope Pius High School. Upon graduation she worked as a switchboar­d operator and waitress. When her children began school, Rose worked in the offices of various companies: Pasquin Ford, Associated Pipe and Fitting Corp., The Record and Star Ledger. It was at Vorando where she met Bernard Jenkins and they married in 1976. She raised her family in Carlstadt where she lived for many years. She was an active member of the Carlstadt Senior Friendship Club. Later in life she relocated to Woodland Park where she loved living at the Four Seasons adult community. While there, she was involved with the Italian Club, the Shalom Club, Chorus, playing mahjong and cards, going on trips to Broadway and Atlantic City. Rose loved traveling so she became travel agent for herself and friends. Her favorite way to vacation was on a cruise ship. This allowed her to enjoy her two passions together – cruising and playing the slots. She loved Aruba as well the Jersey beaches in Wildwood Crest and Brigantine. She was a loyal Giants fan and a HUGE Barry Manilow fan. Beloved wife of the late Bernard Jenkins. Loving mother of Lisa Napolitano and her husband Steven and Paul Kacmarcik and stepmother of Donald Jenkins and his wife Randi, John Jenkins and Christine Milgram. Cherished grandmothe­r of Louis Napolitano, Rose Napolitano, Megan Kayzerman and her husband Jeff, Brian Jenkins and his wife Desiree and great grandmothe­r of Ellie Kayzerman. Dear sister of Carol Speal. Caring aunt of David Speal and his wife Jennifer and grandniece­s Olivia and Natalie Speal. Devoted daughter of the late Louis and Lena Dellraria. Special friend of Dan Gastelu. She is also survived by many cousins and friends. She will be missed by her cats Spooky and Simba. Funeral departing from the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad Street, Carlstadt on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 9:00 AM for a Funeral Mass in St. Philip the Apostle Church, Clifton at 10:00 AM. Interment Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. Visitation Wednesday 4-8 PM.
