Marjorie Drake passed away peacefully in her home on December 28, 2023. She is survived by her daughters Lillian Pagano, and Jina Panebianco, and her son Joseph Panebianco. She is also survived by her ten beautiful grandchild­ren whom she loved dearly. Marjorie was a cherished and adored mother, grandmothe­r, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, wife and friend.

Marjorie was born in Paterson NJ and raised in Waldwick, NJ. She attended Saint Lukes in Hoho-kus for her grammar school years. Marjorie graduated from Holy Angels High School in Fort Lee. She received her teaching certificat­ion at William Paterson University and began teaching in the Paramus school system shortly following. After her years of teaching, she began a new career as a sales agent, working at Prudential insurance. Having such a vibrant personalit­y, she thrived and enjoyed this career change immensely. She was admired by all her coworkers, reaching sales agent of the year many times. Marjorie led a happy and full life, retiring first to Florida, with her husband Gil, and eventually relocating to Wanaque NJ to be closer to her family.

Marjorie enjoyed life to its fullest and had a great sense of humor and a contagious laugh. Some of her greatest pleasures were golfing, and the many activities she was involved in while living in several retirement communitie­s. She was on welcoming committees and surprised everyone with her singing and dancing debuts in the adult community production­s. She loved to shop with a vengeance, and always made others laugh with her take on life. Marjorie was one of the gentlest, kindest souls and will be missed by all the lives she touched throughout her years on earth.
