Masters: How to watch, plus betting odds

- Albert Bainbridge IV

The first major of the 2024 golf season is here with the Masters Tournament teeing off Thursday in Augusta, Georgia.

Last year, Jon Rahm won his first green jacket with a four-stroke victory over fellow LIV golfers Brooks Koepka and Phil Mickelson.

Rahm joined elite company with the win as he’s just the second Spaniard since 2015 and third in the last quarter century (Jose Maria Olazabal in 1999) to achieve the accomplishment. After deciding to switch from PGA Tour to LIV golf in December, the 29-year-old two-time major winner has the third-shortest odds to become the first player since Tiger Woods 23 years ago to repeat as Masters champion at +1200 (Bet $100 to win $1,200) on BetMGM.

With the opening round less than two days away, here’s how fans can watch and stream for The Masters, and the current betting favorites to win the green jacket in 2024:

Who are the odds-on-favorite to win the 2024 Masters Tournament?

Scottie Scheffler: +450 (Bet $100 to win $450) Rory Mcllory: +1100 (Bet $100 to win $1,100)

Jon Rahm: +1200 (Bet $100 to win $1,200) Xander Schauffle: +1600 (Bet $100 to win $1,600) Hideki Matsuyama: +2000 (Bet $100 to win $2,000)

Brooks Koepka: +2200 (Bet $100 to win $2,200) Jordan Speith: +2500 (Bet $100 to win $2,500) Joaquin Niemann: +2800 (Bet $100 to win $2,800) Ludvig Aberg: +3000 (Bet $100 to win $3,000) Viktor Hovland: +3500 (Bet $100 to win $3,500) Even though Rahm is the reigning champion, Scheffler enters the tournament as a massive favorite and for good reason. The World No. 1 golfer has figured out his recent putting woes from a year ago with victories at the Players Championship and Arnold Palmer Invitational in March and six top-five finishes already this year.

The Ridgewood, N.J., native has finished top-10 in four of the last eight majors, including winning the 2022 Masters.

What are Tiger Woods’ odds at the 2024 Masters Tournament?

Another name to keep an eye out for is Tiger Woods. While he’s barely played on the TOUR this season, the 15-time major champion is officially in the field for this week’s tournament.

The five-time Masters winner has not played since Feb. 16 after withdrawing early in the second round of the Genesis Invitational at Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles.

Even though he’ll be back teeing off Thursday afternoon, the oddsmakers don’t have much faith in Woods. The 48-year-old has a staggering +15000 (Bet $100 to win $15,000) consensus odds on sportsbooks in New Jersey to claim his sixth green jacket and inch closer to Jack Nicklaus’ record of 18 major victories this weekend.
