Originally of Brookline, Massachuse­tts, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 97 years of age. Daughter of the late Rose (Segal) and Max Kabatznick. Loving wife of the late Newton Press. Beloved mother of David Press and his wife Janice of Medfield, Dina Weber and her husband John of Bedford, NH, and Ben Presskreis­cher and his wife Helene of Needham. Cherished grandmothe­r of Jason Weber and his wife Rachel, Joshua Press, Evan Weber and his wife Valerie, Jonathan Press and his wife Natalie, Margreta Doerfler and her husband Jake, Rachel Presskreis­cher, and Allyson Presskreis­cher and her husband Allen Bailey. Greatgrand­mother of Sophie and Henry Weber, Isaac and Brinley Doerfler, and Madeline Press.

Aida was born in Boston, MA on November 18, 1926. She attended Brookline High School and graduated Radcliffe College with an A.B. degree cum Laude in 1948 and had been a correspond­ent for the Boston Traveler and a free-lance writer. She was hired as the editor of the Radcliffe Quarterly, a position she held in excess of 20 years. Aida also was an ardent feminist, antiwar activist, and political activist and these themes were incorporat­ed into her writings and poetry. Prior to her husband’s passing, she enjoyed travelling with him throughout the world, playing the recorder and writing poetry.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at 12 Noon on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton. Burial will follow at Lindwood Memorial Park, 497 North Street, Randolph.
