ZACCARDI, Dolores Ann

-

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dolores Ann Zaccardi, who passed away peacefully on May 7. Dolores, the cherished daughter of the late Adelio and Flora (Orlando) Zaccardi; and beloved sister of the late Joseph and John Zaccardi, leaves behind a tapestry of love and cherished memories. Her legacy of kindness and warmth will forever be treasured by her sisters-in-law,

Ann (Celenza) Zaccardi and Marion (Mirisola) Zaccardi; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, grandnieces, grandnephews; and her beloved companion pup, Tilly.

Dolores forged enduring bonds during her many years of employment at Brandeis and Babson universities, where she cultivated lasting friendships.

Her passion for cooking transformed her home into a sanctuary for countless family gatherings and joyous celebrations. She delighted everyone with her love of baking spectacular birthday cakes and endless desserts for every special occasion.

As an avid traveler, Dolores reveled in exploring destinations near and far, from the sun-kissed shores of Hawaii and Bermuda to the enchanting landscapes of Italy and her beloved retreat, Sanibel Island.

Though she may have departed this world, Dolores’ spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew her. May her soul find eternal peace and may her memory be a source of comfort and solace during this time of sorrow.
