BMBA to host Philadelphia Ave Street Fair.
Previously known as the Sidewalk Expo, the Berks-Mont Business Association will be hosting the Philadelphia Ave Street Fair on Saturday, June 18. The new vision for the event is to bring more fun and activities to attract a larger crowd on a busy weekend in downtown Boyertown.
This year there will be a full line up of entertainment, including live music by The Mango Men, Kendal Conrad, Michael Kropp and the Boyertown Alumni Band, as well as two DJs providing music throughout the day. Bring the whole family for a fun afternoon of activities and entertainment from 12 noon to 6 p.m. on East Philadelphia Avenue.
Don’t miss the scavenger hunt in honor of Boyertown’s 150th Anniversary. Make sure to stop by more than 100 vendors to ask them a question from the scavenger hunt to win prizes. Where else will you find a petting zoo, magician, beer garden, food vendors and food trucks, farmer’s market, crafters and historic railroad train rides throughout the day, with pop-up entertainment for the whole family, than along East Philadelphia Avenue?
The Colebrookdale Railroad Preservation Trust (CRPT) will be showcasing the Sidewalk Express, with rides down the “Secret Valley Line” starting at 10 a.m., and every hour until 2 p.m. Visit www.colebrookdale. com and click on the schedule to purchase your ticket.
Visit www.bmba.biz to register as a vendor and be a part of the street fair excitement. What better way to spend Father’s Day than at the Philadelphia Ave Street Fair, guaranteed fun and entertainment for the whole family!
