Jean (Hoffecker) Hollenbach, 87, of Pottstown, PA, widow of Christopher J. Hollenbach III, died Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016 at Manatawny Manor, East Coventry Twp.

Born in Pottstown, PA, she was a daughter of the late John R. and Marlen (Bishop) Hoffecker.

Jean was a graduate of Pottstown High School class of 1947. She was employed as a secretary and bookkeeper with Wyncroft School for 23yrs. retiring in 1989. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Pottstown, and the Schuylkill Chapter #338 Order of Eastern Star.

Surviving is one son, C. David Hollenbach and his wife Barbara, Pottstown; one daughter, Patricia wife of Ronald Follweiler, Boyertown; her twin sister, Joan Zeigler of Pottstown; three grandchildren, Lorelei, Amanda and C. David Jr.; three great-grandchildren, Aidan, Julia, and Lillian. She was predeceased by one sister Marion Torrens. Services by Schuylkill Chapter #338 Order of Eastern Star will be held at 11:00 am with Funeral services being held 11:15 am on Tuesday, December 6, 2016, from the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, 359 King St., Pottstown. Officiating will be Reverend Carter Lester. Burial will be in Pottstown Cemetery - West. There will be a viewing from 9:30 until 11:00 am on Tuesday at the funeral home.
