Alzheimer’s Support Group Meeting

- Chestnut Knoll

Chestnut Knoll Personal Care and Memory Care is pleased to invite the public to a free Alzheimer’s Support Group Meeting on Thursday, December 15 from 6:30–8 p.m. to learn more about caring for your senior loved ones with dementia.

This month’s meeting will be “Surviving the Holidays.” The holidays can be a stressful time for those caring for senior loved ones, and signs that your loved one is developing symptoms of Alzheimer’s or dementia often become more evident when families gather for the holidays. Join Chestnut Knoll for tips on communicating your concerns with family members, and share your ideas with others who are experiencing the same difficulties at home.

The Alzheimer’s Support Group Meeting, affiliated with the Alzheimer’s Association, Delaware Valley Chapter, is held on the third Thursday of each month. Light refreshments are served to those attending.

The support group meeting is free and open to the public. Care is provided for the loved ones while the caregiver is in the meeting, pre-assessment required. If your loved one needs care during the meeting, please RSVP by calling 610-4738066.

Chestnut Knoll is an award-winning senior community, offering Personal Care and Memory Care residences at an affordable month-to-month lease with no buy-in fees.
