Shepherd of the Hills Church

Pro-life topics will be presented followed by a question and answer session. Christians working for Christ-Christmas Cards for the Veterans, we are collecting Christmas Cards for the veterans who are in the Veterans Hospitals (Coatesville & Philadelphia). Please think of our veterans, as you are writing out your Christmas Cards and write one for them. There is a box in the Narthex. Cards need to be returned by December 3rd. The Boyertown Area Choral Association, under the direction of Donna M. House & Donna Jean Marshall with Robin Ward on Piano with guest instrumentalists, will be having their annual holiday concert on Sunday, December 3, at 3 PM at The Good Shepherd United Church of Christ. A Free Will Offering will be taken with a portion of the proceeds designated for the Margaretta R. Lamb Scholarship. Cookie reception to follow the performance. Please join us for the Oley Cluster Advent Service, Wednesday, December 6th at St. John’s Boyertown at 7:00 PM. Please help a needy family this Christmas season by taking a tag from the Angel Tree, please drop off your gift by Sunday, December 10th. You do not need to wrap the gift. Wrapping Paper/Gift Bags can be left with the gift and please leave the tag with the gift also. The Norristown Chorale, Ross Boerner, Artistic Director & Laurie Mueller, Accompanist, will perform the “The Word of Christmas,” celebrating their 40th Season on Sunday, December 10th at 7:00 PM, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1809 Hoffmansville Road, Sassmansville, PA. Boyertown Mennonite Church

St. Luke Lutheran Church
35 Wilson Ave. Gilbertsville Sunday’s activities begin at 8:30 a.m. with the Adult Sunday School Class. Come and join in the educational, fun, and lively discussions! Then, join us Sunday for our 9:30 a.m. service with Holy Communion. We welcome the season of Advent, as we await and prepare for the birth of the Christ Child. The first candle on the Advent Wreath will be lighted as we sing, “Sing a Song of Advent,” by Hopson. The Sr. Choir will sing, “O Come, O Come, Immanuel,” by Sleeth. At Sunday’s service, Megan Ingram, our Administrative Assistant, will be installed. A fellowship time will follow the service.
The Adult Forum will meet after worship. The topic on Sunday will be: ELCA World Hunger.
