Join us at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday for worship. This is the 15th Sunday after Pentecost.
Communion will be celebrated, as we do every Sunday. This will be the final Sunday of our “Bread Sundays,” where the Gospel focus is on Jesus as the Bread of Life. We will celebrate by featuring a liturgy with energetic and rhythmic world music. Our table will be spread with local wine and real bread.

Our annual Blessing of the Pets will be held on Sept. 23 at 2 pm. We desire to open this time of blessing pets to the surrounding community and also to invite our neighbors to enjoy our walking path with their pets. As in the past, we will hold a collection for the Animal Rescue League of Berks County and offer treats available for the animals who are present. We hope to be able to offer blessings to dogs, cats, rabbits, lizards, birds, and whatever other pets God brings to our time of gathering. Please share the date and time of this pet blessing with your family, your friends, your neighbors, your colleagues so we can bless God’s beloved creatures.

The Prayer Shawl project is coming along nicely. We now have an inventory of shawls to start the program and the Stitchers will continue to keep a supply of shawls on hand. The Discipleship Committee and the Pastor will be deciding who will receive a Prayer Shawl. If anyone has a suggestion or wishes to have someone receive a shawl, please contact the Pastor or a Discipleship Committee Member.
