Class of 1968 celebrates 50th reunion
Boyertown High School Class of 1968 celebrated its 50th anniversary reunion with a weekend of events, including a Friday night Meet-&-Greet at Washington Grill and Pub, a tour of the senior high building guided by Dr. Cooper and 10 National Honor Society students (kudos to them all).
Then last but not least, an incredible evening of “catching up,” dinner, dancing with DJ Greg Bernhard in Sunnybrook’s Melody Room.
Dr. Richard Flannery, class of 1968’s class advisor, and his wife were guests of honor. Dr. Flannery, who has had a distinguished career in education in Berks County, gave a brief commentary about our class, then provided the prayer.
The Committee spent well over a year planning the event. Committee consisted of Mike Hartline, Joan Riegner Dekret, Barbara Hartman Rothenberger, Betty Updegrove Miller, Marilyn Houck Lorenz, Sandy Rader Moser, Todd Hannahoe and Barry Fink.
