Huff’s Union Church

540 Conrad Rd, Alburtis Huff’s is open on Wednesdays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for anyone who wishes to meditate and pray. In the busy world of today, finding a quiet place to connect with God is important, yet so many sacred spaces are locked for fear of vandalism. Huff’s Church felt a calling to address this and responded. On Maundy Thursday (March 29, 2018) Huff’s opened the church for people to drop by and pray. This attempt to provide a sacred space to be with God was so successful that church member Jane Arndt gathered a team of volunteers to open the church each Wednesday. Offering soft meditative music in a beautiful sanctuary, as well as a cold drink and cookies as one arrives, allows visitors to the church a chance to feel welcome. We plan to continue offering this time of personal retreat and contemplation at Huff’s Church for the foreseeable future.
